does chael retire after his fight with wand?

Yeah when Wanderlei gets hit he just goes completely unconscious for long periods of time or he has a friend sucker punch the guy beating him up.

You mean when he gets hit by fighters with legit ko power? Unlike chael

Shouldn't he be dead?

Source: the man himself.

No probbaly drop to 185. Probably wants Franklin at 185.

I really hate the term "he has nothing left to prove"

99.9999999999999999999% of the time when people say it, they're incorrect. People always have something else to prove. If only that they can beat (insert fighter they haven't beat)

Like when Chuck Liddell was about to retire and Dana said he had nothing left to prove. Um..how about he could prove that he can still be the best at his current age? He can prove that he can beat (lots of fighters he hasn't beaten) he can prove that he can move up to heavyweight and be champion there.

Or prove that he can't...

there's always more to prove

No. First, he beats Wanderlei. Second, i want to see him fight Belfort and Machida to back up his trash talk.

Yeah, that seems to be the case with about every guy who can't hang at LHW and drops to MW. Eg. Sonnen, Bisping, Munoz, Boetsch, Stann, Vitor, etc.

vitor just wrecked hendo, who everyone seems so high on.

You want chael killed?

It's pretty clear from their last fight that chael got nothing for Anderson

He utterly dominated the first round, and made a silly mistake in the second. And we all remember the first fight. In a three round co-main event, I wouldn't count Chael out.

Do you even know who Chael Sonnen is? He'll start calling Chris Weidman a dork who got lucky against Anderson and have another title shot in early 2015.

Chael retires Wandy, then tries to get one more high profile (pay day) fight before retiring himself.

What was the silly mistake? Not taking the illegal amounts of TRT that he did for the first fight?

chaels most probably gonna lose by tko, will he call it a career after that?

theres nothing left for him to prove in the sport. he can beat some very good fighters, but cant hang with best of them.

at this point hes becoming the new bob sapp. just fighting for paychecks n sometimes doesnt even seem to try to win or even compete.

hopefully vs wand the guy gonna come in there n try to win, not just get hit fold n collect his paycheck.

Chael dominated the GOAT for 4 1/2 rounds and was 30 seconds from winning. How can you say he can't hang with the best of them?

Again, he dominated the first round in the rematch. TRT doesn't just vastly improve skills, heart, etc.

Maybe if Anderson didn't practically pants Charl while defending the takedown the second round would have been more of the same. Easily the most blatant shorts grabbing ever.

And Babalu. Then ran to MW, again.

He also lost to Forrest and a low tier fighter beforehand.

The excuse that he doesn't belong at LHW? sure it was predictable. That excuse is often used by fans of fighters who couldn't cut it at LHW.

You shitting on the MW division, though some of it is true.
