Does Cain/JDS 2 prove Bones could readily go up to HW and demolish them both ?

Some people all already commenting that this fight shows that the caliber of HW fighters simply is not up to par and that the HW fighters just aren't the great athletes we thought they were. I personally feel this isn't true and largely is a result of 2 HWs trying to fight a full5 round fighting mixing in TDs with head and body shot combos continuously and wearing themselves down, which basic physiology tells us is bound to happen. I do think that JDS was just not near his best, much like Cain wasn't for their first fight. But I do not think fi Jones was fighting as a HW he would necessarily be UFC champ - he might have tired just as easily as these 2 fighting at this weight. Am I completely off base or does anyone else concur ?

 

if jones fought cain right now as is he would get wrecked because of size, cain would take those chicken legs down

if jones puts on weight to go to hw he might not be the same guy he is now and he could gas

jones could also just steamroll everyone at heavyweight, who knows

Hard to say if Jones adds weight and stays about the same with a boost in strength then I see him taking over HW. But that is a big IF.

 

I have to admit that JDS looked like shit and Cain was def not impressive.

why would it have any relation to how well bones would do in the heavyweight division? doesn't even make sense. he would get destroyed plus his cardio isn't even that good.

shit, i think the cain that fought tonight could destroy bones...id have to see the HW version of bones but as it stands now i wouldnt put money on bones in that fight...hes not taking all those shots that JDS took without going to sleep...
