Man, Dominick Cruz is so dominant with that knee tap, his opponents have a lot of trouble stopping it. A knee tap is when you have a underhook and you jack it up at the same time as you tap his far knee, and run through for the takedown. My question is, does anyone else utilize the knee tap in MMA? Seems like a move that could adapt over easy. (Couldn't find any gifs)

Hathaway went for it multiple times against Pyle but missed every time.

Idk i feel it is a very underutilized move in MMA. Hell, i feel it is even underutilized in wrestling. Cruz has a sick one.

its hard because of the cage is in the way..
you dont see many fighters pumelling in centere of the octogon..

Plus, this move is easier said than done.. the guy usually has an overhook on the far side, so its pretty much impossible to really utilize that underhook on.. i think C.B tried it a few times on some guy, not sure

No gifs but yeah, gsp used it I think twice in his second fight with Hughes, and at least once in the Alves fight off a failed double.
