meaning their wrists, ankles, and whatnot?
my right wrist has felt pretty weak since my last time on the mats which was last wednesday so it's been a week. i rolled with an advanced blue belt and he pulled out all the stops on me and opened up a clinic of submissions that i had never seen before nor trained for. he did this leg lock to me and my knee did a little pop and my ankle was sore for a couple days.
anyway, i was considering getting some medical tape for my wrist, but was wondering if it would impede movement or if it would even really help?
also, should i hold off on rolling with that guy again until i have a little more time under my belt? i've only been going for a couple of weeks and haven't learned a lot aside from the basics taught before rolling, none of which he was applying to me with his game. i would like to use every roll as a chance to learn new things, but that's tough to do when my bones hurt the next day and can't walk right resulting in a possible missed day from the mats.
