How your every action reverberates an invert-reaction?

Take for instance the greed that accompanies excessive materialism, and how more often than not, it steals happiness rather than produces it.

I was watching a documentary and I could see the microcosm of today's society
in this bath-house that was built and used extensively during roman times.

Ancient Rome had a colossal sized bath-house for public use. The world had never seen such grandeur in one place. It was considered "paradise". But to the average bath attendee, it was unbeknown that bellow the bath-house existed an underground furnace that heated the pools.
Fire was needed day-in day-out for these furnaces so a constant supply of labour and wood were needed.
Temperature and the environment resembled more like a hell than a "paradise". A "paradise" for bath attendees, but a hell to the people that worked there.
The people at the helm of this "paradise" don't want you to know about the underground inter-workings of this "paradise". My friends, I implore you to ask what will it take for the bath seeker to realise their direct need for a paradise outside of their own mind is directly correlated to another's world of hell?

What irony for the bath attendees to seek happiness in the shallows of the pools
when all along happiness existed in the depths of one's self?

“Let me put this more eloquently: Have people lost their f%$#^& minds?

The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven..”
    John Milton, Paradise Lost

This seems like something Will Smiths insane son would write. If only you had capitalized every word, we'd know for sure it was you Jaden...

You don't see the irony of people enjoying the heated pool when below people suffer?

Your response is typical shertard sound bites. Why don't you come up with a valid argument instead of insulting something you don't understand?

Jesus Christ, the situation is unfortunate, not ironic. I made a joke to avoid pointing out that yet another person doesn't actually understand what irony is.

If I go to the grocery store, I can buy beef from Australia, blueberries from the US, lime from Mexico, grapes from Chili, salmon from Norway, etc. It is wonderful and convenient I have access to otherwise inaccessible meat and produce from various parts of the (flat) planet thanks to our advances in farming technology/methods and shipping. And there’s a price. The scale of monoculture and factory farming that makes this possible is putting a strain on the land, the bees, the ecosystem, not to mention the horrible condition some of these animals are in. The large ships that transport these delights throughout the world contribute heavily to pollution and apparently messes up whales’ communication and navigation. But fuck it, I want my lime.
