Heard nothing since he pulled out of 205. He doesn't post on social media at all and there's been nothing other than rumours about 209 that apparently are not true ( I recall hearing that Diaz is out of the 209 talks? ).

I'd love to see him back and try to make a run for the title again. He's hardly much older than Twood or Wonderboy, but there's probably no one in the division who can rival the wars and miles on his body. In the long run it's a good thing he didn't fight Cerrone so soon, but it's another question entirely whether there still is an long-run for him career-wise.

This, he got knocked out pretty heavily and wants to make sure his head is all the way back before he gets in there with another savage.

Yes definitely a good idea to take a break before returning to The Stacked WW division. Not only was he brutally KO'd in his last fight he also went through some wars with Hendricks, Macdonald and Condit.

Also, he may be waiting until the UFC pays Nick Diaz so he can try and get that one back.

Well that depends whether he pulled out of 205 thinking that it wasn't a very good idea to get back in there so soon, or because of some other reason like family etc. I don't think it was ever confirmed which way or the other

It's only been 4 months, and he's been fighting in wars almost every 6 months before that. Dude definitely needs some time off before he retires. I wouldn't mind seeing another Woodley v. Lawler match up though.

Yes that's a good point, my brain is moist for that rematch. Would be an awesome re-introduction for Nick and Lawler

Makes you stop to appreciate gsp's run as welterweight champion.
