Does anyone honestly want to see Vitor Jones 2?

Cause I don't.

I know people will argue that Vitor gave jones his toughest fight since he has been the champ, but thats only becuase of the armbar-- which I dont see happening again.

I would rather see Vitor take on Chael if he wants to go back up to 205 (which I think is a bad decision in itself)

 

well sonnen and jones isn't any better.

Eh, Vitor took the fight on short notice and nearly submitted Jones early. I'd only want to see it happen again if I knew Vitor would be less hesitant with his hands. Vitor has been primarily counter-striking lately and I know with his hand speed it isn't a bad idea but against a guy with a reach like Jones... Vitor really should be looking to attack and not wait.

 

I can think of many many matches I'd prefer to see.

Jones Shad 2
Jones Machida 2
Jones Glover
Jones Cormier
Jones Davis
Jones Mousasi
Jones Skinny Roy Nelson

I wouldn't mind, but I'd rather see Vitor face Chael.

 

I'd rather see Machida/Jones 2 or Rashad/Jones 2 before Vitor/Jones 2, personally.

The Mauler or DC (after a win or two at LHW) before either...and maybe throw Glover in there if he can somehow beat Rampage. Maybe Minotoro to keep with the legend-destroying theme?

Whatever though...I just want to continue watching Jones fight anyone but Shogun (huge Shogun fan as well as Jones).

Unless Vitor gets another fortuitous arm bar in the fight, its a waste of a jones fight. He has nothing for jones

Rather see sonnen against Vitor, vitor was a punching bag after the armbar and was respectively fighting jones on one arm.

Its a waste of the LHW belt and jones time.

 

If his hand was actually seriously injured, than yeah. But if he was doing all the weird guardpulling shit because he didn't believe in his striking than no.

Vitor almost caught him with a Hail Mary armbar. It was exciting and all, Jones is too smart to get caught with the same thing twice in a row for F sake...so stop with the "Vitor got closest" angle. Jones is not Trigg or Chael...he'd be ready.

 

While Vitor almost caught Jones, Shad is a much better LHW fighter and more of a legitimate threat. Vitor would lose to several top LHW's. I think Rashad would beat most of them, and I even think he could take Machida in a rematch. He went in with no rational gameplan in their first fight.

Well Sonnen vs Jones is just as bad and no if Vitor gets a couple good wins at LHW then ok sure why not.
