My assistant bought like ten of them for me for Christmas. I haven't played them in years.

I must say, within moments, I was overcome with boredom. I didn't even finish scratching them I was so bored. Nevermind the fact that they're a tax on the stupid, they're just objectively not fun.

In addition to boredom, I was also overcome with a sense of embarrassment. I would frankly rather have someone walk in on me watching anime porn than be seen scratching these tickets. Probably the only thing more pathetic than these scratch lottery tickets are watching old people play slot machines in the casino.

I say all of the above as an avid sports gambler, who once bet $200 on a women's handball game.

I'll do it for friends, like last year I missed my good friends birthday so the next time I saw her I gave her candy and a bunch of scratch offs

Fuck no.......

"You gotta be Mexican to win that shit."
Tre....."Boyz in tha Hood"

I only bought them once when I was six years old..

Won 20 cents.

Bought another ticket, won 40 cents.

Spent those to buy 2 more tickets, won nothing, left pissed, that is all.

But did the handball game go in your favour?
A colleague bought me one last year, I can remember when they only cost £1, this one was $10. I appreciated the thought though.

At six years old you say...

Okay.

Eastern europe stuff.

What's funny, I was too young for buying a pokemon sticker tattoo, that wasn't sold to me because it had a lot of chemicals that could harm me, and the age limit of purchasing those was 7, but a lottery ticket was completely fine, lmao

Yes. It was the December 6, 2011 game between Australia and Russia. The pointspread line was like an insane +40 goals for Australia, which barely covered.

Of course, they would have done much better if Hannah Mouncey was on the team...
