Does anyone else think Barberena is this era's Pat Healy (a rich man's version)?

Same nickname (Bam Bam), super tough, well rounded, usually the underdog, push a relentless pace and move forward, string great combos tho dont have high power, really good technical clinch games, follows the gameplan, similar personalities and they are a tough out for anyone, pretty much never get stomped.

Bryan is 3-1 in UFC and the Laprise lose was extremely close. Those 4 opponents were a combined 41-1!!!! when Barberena beat them. Give that man a top 15 opponent and i guarantee he makes it a fight!!!

He just waits for opponents to punch themselves out on his face.

I guess you can say he's a Pat Healy or a poor mans Forrest Griffin. Feed him to Gastelum, he can use a W right about now.

Probably be a solid gate keeper for a while. Could make a bit of a push, probably a Matt Brown kind of guy. And I mean that as a compliment.

I think he should have changed his nickname to "Sage Slayer" after he beat him. What a dick he would have looked like, lolol.

Pat Healy was better imo. That Miller fight was crazy!

Yeah but Matt Brown at least has KO power... Barbarena like Healy couldn't bust a grape.

Dude has no KO power but manages to win by grinding lol.

Bryan hasn't faced top guys yet so yeah Healy is more proven as of now. I feel Bryan has a better skill-set and approach tho. We'll see soon enough...

And yeah Pat has been in some solid fights over his career.

Dude has one of the worst shape and just beat 2 ripped fighters

He can be something in LW
