And I mean exhausted because of a fight. Not because of bad fight preparation, weight cut etc.

Like Hunt vs Rothwell. They fought their hearts out.

    I loved it.

Way better than Aldo and Hominick doing pushups after a decision.

I think that fighters should be dead tired when the fight goes to a decision, unless the winner is clear.

Hunt and Rothwell would 'fight their hearts out' by running to the shop for Dorritos at that altitude though.

Hunt vs Rothwell was an embarassment of a fight as far as I can remember

Maybe the weirdest way I have ever heard someone describe 'leaving it all in the cage' but some fights are more defensively technical, doesn't necessarily make it a bad fight. But yeah fighters should be getting after it if they think it is a coin-flip going to the judges If that that is what you are saying. Ypur example didn't match your description at all though unless you think Aldo vs Hominick was a close fight. Why include Aldo at all? A guy can do pushups when he wins 4 rounds to 1. Hominick had a good last round but it wasn't a close fight.

Official scores: Judge Douglas Crosby scores it 48-45, while Nelson Hamilton has it 48-46 and Sal D’Amato 49-46, all in favor of the winner and still UFC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo.

When you have two great fighters that fight hard, get exhausted, and then start brawling, it's sometimes awesome. For example Shogun vs Hendo 1.

Not sure why people think TS is trolling.

let's just put it this way - i don't like it when one of them is absolutely gassed.

if both are super exhausted after a grueling 4 rounds affair and still find some inner strength to finish the 5th swinging, yeah, power to them. but both gassed in the first or second, that's just disrespectful and unprofessional.

Maybe a Hendo vs Shogun fight where they are exhausted from beating the shit out of eachother for my entertainment, then yes

Glad you understand what I'm talking about.

BTW, smartas*es in this thread probably haven't been in a real fight before.

The stamina burns out faster in a real fight, than in a sparring that are too many MMA fights today.

They also need to learn why a wolf has tons more stamina than a tiger, but in a fight between them... Well, you know:)

Stamina is relative, so is fatigue.

I'm talking about getting tired becauzse of a fight. I wrote that.

Hunt vs Rothwell was a war.

Hunt vs Stipe was tired before he started to fight FFS.

WW2 was a fucking war. Hunt and Rothwell was not a war LOL

it was two fat out of shape guys gassing out and displaying terrible technique for 90% of the fight

I know you pop boners when you see any HW fight, but still, common sense needs to prevail at some point, doesnt it

    Elevation was a mile.

So when a cardio machine like Cain is affected by altitude, I guess much heavier fighters should be too.

The elevation was 1x lower than Mexico, but still high enough to feel it.

"Displaying terrible tecnique". You know how this sounds to me? Do you know how much I care about that?

You should go watch ballet, not fighting. I'm watching fights to see who wins a fight. If it's ugly, it's ugly.
