People are talking now about how Cormier got tired quicker at 205 than if he had fought Jones at a heavier weight. Besides the fact that Jones is also a big guy who cuts a lot of weight to fight at 205 and had more endurance than Cormier, is there any opinions from the medical profession or trainers that dehydrating yourself (and I guess starving yourself) 24 to 32 hours before the fight will affect your endurance, even after you have eaten and rehydrated? Cormier himself attributed his fatigue in the fight to body shots by Jones.

The constant body shots are what got Cormier tired.
