Do you see Dodson moving up to challenge Dillashaw any time soon? I think it is very possible based on these:

    1. If he loses to Moraga, he would be pretty far from title contention, so why not move up when you have already beaten that champ?

    2. If he beats Moraga, he will most likely be next in line for the title shot at 125. If he fights for the title and loses for a 2nd time against Johnson, or even against Bagautinov, then he would be 0-2 in title fights at 125. That would mean he would be pretty far from another title shot, so why not move up to, again, face someone you have already beaten?

    3. If he beats Moraga, then wins the belt against Johnson or Bagautinov, then why not do a super fight? Dodson has said he wants to hold more than 1 belt when his time is done, and the fight would also give a lot more attention to the lower weight classes.

I know people will say Dodson would need to defend the belt a lot before getting that opportunity and Dillashaw is a different fighter now who would beat him easily and blah blah, but this would be pretty cool if it happened... and it's not too farfetched.

He would need to beat at least 2 135's before he got a shot, so I don't think it's likely.

He's focused on getting a rematch with DJ right now.

I don't see Dodson beating himm in a rematch. I would root for Dodson though, he's fun to watch and can knock your head off.

I think the 125 division should be disbanded and all the current guys there move up to 135... As is, both are shallow. So just combine them and have some depth.

One would think Dodson should move up; more respectability at higher weight class and perhaps more $(?) also. But by the time he gets his chance at TJ, TJ may not even be champ anymore.

Chances are he's in line for a rematch with DJ before anything else to be honest.

This reminds me of people saying that Guida would still beat Pettis cause he beat him years ago. People improve, you know.

People act as if TJ hasn't improved immensely since their first match. I'm not saying Dillashaw would win this time but it would be no where near the same fight. Also this.

i'd really like this fight. Dodson is a beast and i've slightly become a fan of his. i use to hate him with a passion on TUF though. he acted like a little punk ass troll that was extremely annoying to me.
