Do you wish people Merry Christmas?

No because fortunately the Finnish and Swedish names for the holiday don't include a reference to Baby Jesus.

It's called Joulu/Jul. Still.

What?! NO! That's so fucking offensive!!! Acknowledge all religions you intolerant Christian pieces of shit! It's HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh come on now, it wasn't that long ago people were using gay to express happiness and joy. They'd end the day relaxing while smoking a ***.

Though it was odd today when I was at the bank and the teller was wearing a hijab and was obviously muslim that she wished me a merry Christmas.

Caught me completely off guard, so naturally I wished her a merry Christmas as well:redface:

I don't generally say merry Christmas unless they say it first. I once said merry Christmas to this old lady I thought was the Christmas type and she went off on me about being Jewish and not celebrating that.

That only seems odd because she wouldnt have a way of knowing if you celebrate christmas.

But I will wish someone happy _________ depending on what I know they celebrate.

I usually wish people "Happy Solstice". Covers most of the bases.

Merry Christmas
Welcome to the western world-Get over it

England is in the Western world. We just don't go around saying Merry Christmas... especially in summer ;)

Although every year Christmas shopping seems to start a bit earlier. We're becoming as commercialised as America day by day

Sometimes when I'm in PA, nobody be doing that shit where I'm from.

No, in the PC society of today, I'm afraid to get sued for imposing my religious beliefs on others by saying "Merry Christmas" around December time or "bless you" when someone sneezes.

EDIT: oh look a zombie thread. that would explain the random timing of a Christmas-related post...

Not here in the states. People tend to freak out when other people they don't know try to engage with them here. If someone says it to me first, I will do it gladly though.
