I have a washing machine that shit the bed and the best value is one from Best Buy, $250 from $400 - the first time they actually had the best buy.

My back sucks and I can't do anything but Best Buy on phone said the delivery people always install and move stuff around. They will move my washing machine anywhere!! They asked for $30 to recycle it? Why do that when I can call the city for a large item pickup for free! Even better, some guy on facebook collects broken washing machines and said he would just take mine. So I'll have them put it on the curb

Anyway the only way the washing machine goes in the house is the basement but you have to gown a slight but sharp hill to get to it - it's always slippery and they calling for snow that day

d

No. They get paid to do their job.

Glad to see there are some brains in the family.

I just feel bad cause the washing machine ppl have their work cut out for them dealing with my house and they might fall down on my hill

Also there's a chance the door might have to come off for the machine to fit in, who does that?

I also have a huge drop off where the basement floor is vs where the door is with no ramp

They're professionals. If they can't handle the job, maybe they should work at McDonald's instead.

Maybe you should consider the hill yourself bud. If they fall and get jacked up on your property will that fist your insurance?

I went with unsure because I've never had a washing machine person.

Washing machine people sounds like some kinda subhumans that dwell in a washing machine colony

What the fuck do I do with a wet slippery wintery grassy icey hill? I pit sand on it but it falls into the grass and sand is expensive and the beaches are frozen

I hate society I never understand

I think around here it's a matter of whether they're aware of the conditions or not. If you tell them it's slippery and they still go and slip maybe you're fine.

When they called I explained to them the hill and basement door etc stuff

If they go above and beyond. They're technically not supposed to accept, but you can if you want. Most of the time they're in and out.

I say offer them a drink and call it fair.

Why tip anyone?

Instead how about you pay for services rendered as per your agreement.

It's fucking weird. I don't get it.

You should tip strippers, waiters/waitresses, delivery drivers for food, taxi cabs and dealers at casinos. That's it imo

They probably deliver to places more difficult than yours. Don't worry about tipping them.

What is wrong with your old machine? If the guy who will take it for free thinks he can repair it, why not have him do that?

He doesn't repair them he makes burning barrels or something stupid with them

And the machine is fucked
