Do you think wonderboy is a step above cowboy, 2 steps up, or a step down?

Till had his coming out party vs cowboy, but was that enough?

Cowboy has for a while been a top contender but he fails to win the big fights he needs too. His popularity is high, but is he at the level of wonderboy? I don't think so. Cowboy is a great fighter, sure. But cowboy is beatable, as shown by rda and masvidal among others. Tills win vs cowboy had an impact on fans because of the relative lack of knowledge of till among fans moreso than the quality of the win.

Can till beat wonderboy? Of course and I'm leaning toward him. But at this point a win over an (older, worn) cowboy isnt enough to fully convince me he is ready for the step up in competition.

Ill clarify that Till vs Cowboy is a great win, but I think id of like to see Till in one more fight maybe vs a masvidal before he got to wonder boy.

Can't wait for this fight either way.

Cowboy is the epitome of a hot and cold fighter, and himself admits he's a horribly slow starter. Wonderboy is at least 5 steps up compared to R1 Cowboy. That said, I'm pumped for this matchup too.

I would say the Wonderboy fight would tell us not only a lot about Till but Cowboy too.

If Till beats Wonderboy then are both he and Cowboy old and on the downside of their careers or would Till be a bad mofo?

I'm not ready to say Cowbody is no longer a contender, the world we be a dark place when that happens
 
Cowboys two-step is better but Wonderboy is two steps ahead
 
Anyway, you're title is dumb and doesn't match what you're saying.
 
You could argue there both similar in that there effective when they control the fight at range but look more vulnerable when opponents can get inside on them.
 
Wonderboy other than the Woodley fights has outclassed everyone since the Matt Brown fight. I wanted to be a fan of Wonderboy I can’t tell whether it’s just things not going quite right or him being gunshy but his last couple fights have pissed me off a bit. I just feel like at times he could do more even though I know he is just minimizing his risks and that’s how he fights...Wonderboy is world class. I hope they engage in this fight however Till applying too much pressure could get him slept. Cant’t wait!

Over ranked? Almost beats robbie lawler, Destroys Rick story (was on a tear of his own), head kick KO'd Matt brown, finished a very durable Patrick Cote and submitted a very dangerous Alex Olivera.
Wonderboy is definitely way above Cerrone and definitely a top 3 ww but Cerrone isn't overrated, he's a beast at ww.

Eez my opnion

Not "overrated" just over ranked, I never said overrated
Top 15 is still good and a tough fight for most in a stacked division
 
Wonderboy will destroy Till.

Till has a padded record and a past prime LW is his only notable win.

Thompson meanwhile is a proven top fighter who has crushed other elite fighters and taken the champ to a razor close decision twice.
