Do you think UFC will sign Jake Shields again?

He won 3 split decisions in the ufc, not very exciting fights

Shields may have been 4-3 in his UFC run, but every win was a particularly boring decision, three being split decisions and none of the wins being particularly convincing. His only clear-cut convincing win was an awful fight that was overturned to a No Contest because Shields failed a drug test.

Why would the UFC want to bring him back?

He outstruck Akiyama 3 to 1. How is that not convincing?

He is too good and boring at the same time, huge danger for almost everybody at WW. So no.

As a Shields fan, I hope not. The way UFC cut him was unfair. Even Shields himself said he was shocked that he got cut. He's better off fighting for promotions that actually treats him with respect. If I was Shields, I'd say they can F off.

I highly doubt they'll re-sign him. Too high of a price tag and he does not produce in terms of entertainment value and he'll most likely never win the belt.

They just had Josh Burkman fighting on the main-card of their last PPV.


Of course they'd resign Shields if he puts together some wins.
