They've got pretty much infinite scope to fuck up and try again. The brand of Superman and Batman will never be so tarnished that there won't be some people willing to give it another chance.
The question is can they match what the MCU has done. I think the best DC films have been when they haven't been trying to rush into a multiverse to try and catch up to Marvel. They should keep things slow and focus on good films and worry about joined up universe stuff later, if it's even necessary at all.

Just found out interesting news from James Gunn himself the cancelation of WWIII "Wonder Woman" was not due to issues with Gal but with Patty Jenkins and that they where not happy with the project that was forwarded especially after WW:1984 problems. James still would like to work with Gal within the DCU as Wonder Woman. He said social media been full of wrong information less clear is the status of Henry's superman.

I don't think anyone should waste their time or money watching more of their live-action shit.
All the great comic narrative arcs from the DC have been (or are being) made into animated films. The DCAU shits on the DCCU.

Before the MCU, guys like Captain America and Iron Man were B-list. I had never even heard of Thor as a superhero. Ant Man? Who the fuck is that guy?

Honestly i dont know but there is potential and money to keep trying
they have found shades of brilliance but it gets caught up in bullshit.
like black adam, a forgetable movie that the rock had more pull on than dc. But the JSA shined and could carry a movie by themselves people wanted more of that.
they gotta work on expanding the universe to guys and gals who are less well known while taking time establish a narrative and universe instead of trying to throw everything together.
I love DC and JSA so i hope they will dive further into that
but i dont got my hopes up
like i mean man this is the earth 2 dc line up rife with stories i know all these fucks by name
