Do you think that Lyoto ''The Dragon'' Machida will rise again?

That's amazing if he really did that all in one stroke like that

i think he should get fat and bulk up, move to heavyweight.

I don't think so. He's definitely a legend though.

Sadly, no. Im a Machida fan but his skills have diminished with age (like Anderson). Werdum fights in a bigger class and he's a grappler so hes done great. Lawler is doing great but he never took as many beatings in a row like Machida has.

As soon as he gets a hold of Anderson Silva's 'viagra', he will 'rise' again.

In the world of MMA I would say yes his style and skills during his prime were unique and very fun to watch.
I agree that his style was unique and entertaining to watch, but these are not things that make a legend. Anderson going undefeated in the UFC for as long as he did makes him a legend. BJ Penn and Randy Couture being the only two fighters to hold titles in two different weight divisions makes them legends. GSP's style and dominance makes him a legend. Lyoto was no doubt a champion, but IMO calling him a legend is a bit of a stretch.

highly doubtful.

machida era was a bust as well.

People saying he can't take hits? Why? Because of Luke's massive elbow to behind the ear, or because Yoel smashed him? Yeah okay...

Will he ever replace his brother as his corner guy? Everything he talks between round is pure bullshit.
He should just move to Kings in a permanent way.

The Machida error is over. Has been over for years, time to move on.

no, just no. lyoto's best years as a fighter is behind him. he's a relic. an aging fighter that fights to collect the paycheck.

No.. He's like Roy Jones Jr.. His illusiveness and reflexes and ability to jump in and out were what set him apart from the rest.. As soon as those aspects of his game deteriorated a little he became much more human.

The Romero fight is an exception to that...I feel he beat Romero everytime in the large cage that is used 99/100, when he fought Romero it was in the small cage...which is a lot smaller btw and obviously that is detrimental to his skill set.

I'm not so sure Machida beats Romero in the larger cage, but it certainly didn't help his chances in the small cage. It was a competitive fight until Romero got ahold of Lyoto.

Yes he gonna get revenge on Rockhold

I like Lyoto but the dragons been slayed.
