I'm not sure there is a correlation.

I don't think a big head necessarily means a big brain, or even if a bigger brain is correlated with higher intelligence. If anyone knows otherwise please let me know, I like learning new information.



It doesnt. Sperm Whales have larger brains than us, and so do some other animals.

I could be wrong but from what I remember its more about brain density and number of neurons

So when you call someone 'dense' you're actually saying that they are smart?
 
I'm just guessing here TS, but I don't think being the smartest kid in your class was much to write home about.
 
Brain to body size ratio is a pretty accurate indicator of intelligence in all species. There are of course the usual people in the thread that like to use outliers and exceptions to try to disprove a theory.......

And the brain to body size ratio is not a scientific law, but a very clear, observable corollary trend.

Neuron density may also play a role as well, though.
