I know I'm gonna rustle some jimmies, but I want to know if some peole, and how many people, have the same feeling I have.

Conor was literally shocked after his fight with Nate and I think we are never gonna see him at 145 again.....and his ego will absolutely prevent him from being just a mid-tier fighter at 155(cause I think we all know he is not beating anyone in the top 5 and probably even in the top 10).

I think he will retire if he loses against Diaz again(and I don't see him beating Nate). He is already a millionaire, and he can make a comeback a-la Brock in a couple of years if he wants to prove something/get another paycheck.

Your thoughts?

Forgive my mistakes in English but it's not my native language :p

why do people keep talking like Conor is going to retire soon? his tweet was in response to the UFC pulling him from 200..... he isnt going away anytime soon

He will likely SAY he is, but as we saw last time, it's just a bluff.

Dude likes money and nice shit WAY too much give up the game anytime soon.

Might as well, Nate would then prove hes a much better allaround fighter than Conor ever was. Dont think his manlet/Napoleon complex can handle that.

People lose in this sport, its normal.

Would you retire if you made that kind of money!?

It's not a secret he's going in and out quickly. He said it himself.
If he's done after losing to Nate a second time? I don't know, probably not since it's at 170 again - giving Conor yet another chance to bounce back at 155.

No, there is no reason for that.
He's adament that he wanted the Nate fight again.
If he loses again, he'll want to become even better and at some point, have another dance with Diaz.
He'll defend his belt in the meantime though.

Do you think McGregor will retire WHEN he loses to Nate for the 2nd time?

fixed, you are welcome.

answer your question, don't know
probably not. won't fight at "170" again tho

They'll give it to him if he keeps winning in the meantime.
It's where the money is for the UFC.
And I'm not mad, because the fight will be exciting.
You'd watch it go down a third time as well.

he said he wants to get in, get rich and get out...... I dont think he is done getting rich yet lol. He stands to make so much money, retiring sounds silly

He will go back to FW and dominate again.

Dude loves money and fame. He's not going anywhere.

Yes.

But will Nate retire if he beats Conor, again? Why take anymore fights for less money against more dangerous opponents?

Conor wants the numbers to go up right? A couple of losses and the numbers are going down. It's a fine line, sure.

I think it could be possible, the reason he is so famous is because of his personality... if it was just purely on fighting excitement vitor would be up there as one of the most famous (not last fight thou)..... His personality has a lot to do with his cocky, bad guy persona, if he has two loses in a row he cant really pull that shit off the same... he would lose out on making mega millions against Mayweather with a loss...

He'll more likely stay at 145, as hard as the weight cut is. Better to be the champ at 145 than one of the top 10? guys at lightweight. Hell, might even be top 15. Lightweight is mad deep.
