He is an athletic beast. By today's standards he'd be fighting at middle or welterweight. Even small hw Fedor looked much larger than him.

Maybe if there were height classes, and not weight classes. 220-230lbs was about the average size of the LHWs and HWs competing at the time.

He honestly would so better at hw. Just too fast even for the average hw today

There were plenty of small LHW's and HW's for him to fight back in his day. If he just entered the sport today and decided to fight at HW, I'd encourage him to cut weight.

Randleman actually said he had a harder time at 205 than HW, because of the increased speed.

Pretty much, you can't really say Randleman was carrying much excess fat so the choice was really just HW or 205 in that kind of shape.

Maybe he could have pulled off an AJ like insane weightcut to get to 185 but given the health issues he'd had I'd guess he would no longer be among the living if he'd tried that.

Nah I think him at HW was the right weight class. It was always his camp and the people he trained with which led to him losing all the time. Hammer house was cool don't get me wrong, just kinda one demsionial and lacking in the gameplay department.

no. he was a special athlete that never had fighter IQ or heart. the only man to knockout crocop IN HIS PRIME. that left hook and gnp was devastating.

LOL at him being a MW. The only way that would happen is if he would have had about 20 lbs more of flesh cut out due to his staph infection.

Do the people agreeing with TS know who Kevin Randleman is? The guy was jacked as phuk and massive, not a chance in hell he's making MW or WW

Idk if he never had heart, I just think his frame led him to gas out and he got extremely tired.

He wrestled at 177 in 1993 at Ohio State, so its not insane to think he could have fought as a MW. At his prime though (especially in Japan) fighters just didn't cut weight like they do now. I think he would have been best at LHW as he rarely had a problem with his strength.
