do you think Jones could eat a punch from Ben, Nelson, Mitrione, Reem, JDS or Miocic?

Jones is a beast, i was truly impressed with his determination. However i've realized that he is more than willing to make it a dog fight. Going toe to toe and that. He ate good shots from Glover, Gustaffson and DC. If he moved to hw, do you see him implementing the same tactics and be willing to go toe to toe against heavy hitters at hw? do you see him absorbing them punches as good as he's done at lhw?

I picked DC to win. After seeing Bones' performance, I believe he would dominate in the HW division. Love him or hate him, Jon Jones is the Michael Jordan of MMA. I dislike Jones, but you can't deny his talent. He would beat Cain too. The tougher fight for Jones at HW is probably dos Santos.

Yes but they wouldn't land a clean one. Jones knows exactly what he is doing in there. His last 2 fights he didn't really use distance the whole fight. Much of the fight was fought in a phone booth and clinch and Jones isn't afraid to do that.

Yes. Though they could also knockout him out with the right shots, but its like that with any fighter I suppose.

JDS should be able to land some clean shots, even if he has to eat some to get there but jones doesn't have the power to put junior out. that's why i think this would be his toughest test at HW.

He fights smart so I don't think he will want to eat them clean, if he was a HW he would clinch and tire out his opponent like he did with DC.

I don't know about standing there and eating punches but he would beat Jds et al in a mma fight. That much is clear to me at this point

    What? The perfect punch?

    Nope.

Stand toe to toe trading shots? Yes. And he'd win at that too.

Probably not, but Jones would not eat a punch like that. DC is heavy handed and only threw moderate power behind his punches; Cormier doesn't have enough skill in his striking to use the amount of power and accuracy needed to stop Jones. Someone would have to be extraordinarily lucky to hit Jones with the kind of shot that would knock him flat. Jones can and will be hit though, that's part of the game; I just don't see him getting knocked out though.

I think Jones can hold both belts and defend them both.

The real question should be: Do you think Ben, Nelson, Mitrione, Reem, JDS or Miocic could land a punch on Jones?

I think only Miocic and JDS can land punches on him. Reem has a glass chin and gets's KO'd with a front kick. Mitrione Nelson and Ben all land fewer than 9 punches and each receive their own unique beat finish.

Yes, But more importantly, would any of those slow, lumbering, plodding, telegraphing, 1 dimensional, 40 year olds actually be able to land flush? It would be like most Floyd fights.

Everyone get ko'd at HW, 90% of that division struggles to maintain a 2-3 fight win streak without getting ko'd.
