Do You Think Holloway Can Finish Edgar?

I really doubt Holloway can submit Edgar - he has been put in many dangerous positions and not tapped once. but I do, however, think that Holloway can finish Edgar with strikes.

I just think it is inevitable for Edgar, and that Holloway will out-strike him widely with volume and drop and then finish him with punches.

as much as i like Frankie, his weakness is a good snapping jab to stop his rushes due to his reach disadvantage.

If Frankie is smart he might go to the ground, but i think Holloway beats him. but who knows, frankie has surprised me a lot of times and he might have the answer to beat max.

He for sure can, but Frankie is one of those guys who I won't predict gets finished until I see it happen. His chin and recovery is too good to predict a KO loss imo.

It'll be interesting to see how the striking plays out. Aldo was doing well against Holloway until he gassed, and I can't imagine Edgar gassing + Edgar has the wrestling to trouble Holloway

He can definitely beat Holloway if he lands takedowns and has heavy top control. But if he tries to strike, Holloway's reach will trouble him a lot.

Picking Max but think it will be somewhat competitive. Frankie has fought the best of the best his entire career and has yet to be finished going up against top competition. Maybe this is the fight it happens but until I see it I will say he loses a competitive decision to Max.

He would have to hurt Edgar bad and finish him off with volume punches. We've seen Edgar in deep water before. I think if he ever did get rocked hard by Max he would get finished. Much easier said then done though.

Agreed. I'm with @Kung Fu Tze I think max is going to touch him up all night with that snapping jab followed up with head and body shots

I see Max breaking him down slowly over the first 3-4 rounds with his sharp jab and kicks. That reach disadvantage is going to be rough for Frankie. Both times Edgar fought Aldo in the striking he was not really competitive. Max just seemed to toy with Aldo standing after getting his timing in round 1 both times. He stopped him both times seemingly easily.

Edgar's only chance IMO is if he can get TD's and hold Max down. I don't think he gets inside. He will get hit on his way in over and over. Frankie's also getting old for a 145 lbs fighter. 50/50 he makes it to the bell via toughness to lose a UD.

Maybe the first fight, but the second it was a different story. Max just outpaced him and hurt him with the body shots
