Do you think Dana is a secret Fedor fan?

Dana who is always called cheap was going to pay Fedor double what the next highest fighter in the UFC made. He was obviously a fan of Fedor but not a fan of his handlers
 
He thought Feder was over-rated and ducking the best competition AT THE TIME by facing 185 pounders and has beens. And he was right.

If he's an MMA fan, which he is, he can't not be a fan of Fedor.
 
Of course the zuffa brass were fans. They were dying to sign Fedor, they never offered more money or tried harder to sign anyone. And really, they should have just co-promoted with M-1 like they did with Pride. If they signed Fedor, zuffa would have hyped Fedor to no end, but since he was competition, they called him crap. Very callous and spiteful.

No. He said Fedor never faced anyone legit after 2006. I disagree, cause he went against Arlovski and Sylvia (on the downslide, but still relavent), but other than that anybody he faced wasn't legit, unless you count Brett Rogers who was really a never was.
 
Of course he is a fan, everybody is a Fedor fan even the biggest haters!

Fedor has never had a boring fight. He's never run from an opponent...and aside from all of that he's not an asshole. Seems like a very respectful, ice cream loving guy.

Even mean Uncle Dana can't find fault with that.
 
Of course he is a fan, but he was unable to obtain the forbidden fruit so he has to discredit him as much as possible to make his HWs look better.

by his own definition of 'do you want to be a fucking fighter' or 'finishing fights' 'put on exciting fights' goes for the kill etc, etc

Andrei was on a 5-fight win streak at the (including Nelson, Rothwell, and Werdum), and Timmeh was fresh off beating up Nog for two rds before falling prey to Nog's superb bottom-game, not to mention being only a year removed from being a dominant UFC champ. I would hardly think in the context of the time those guys were considered to be on the "downside". As for Rogers, he was an enormous, undefeated, prospect, fresh a rd1 ko of then, top-5 ranked Arlovski. Again, in that context its justifiable. In hindsight, not so much.
