Do you think Carmont will win Bellator MW belt? Is GSP still cornering him?

Size discrepancy could play a factor. It'd be an interesting grappling battle, but I'd lean towards Halsey.

I actually think he got a pretty good chance at winning that paper belt

Carmont was a beast but sort of fell off.. I think he can reinvent himself and become a real threat.

Halsey smokes him. Give carmont Marshall or manhoef to start with. 185 is thin these days in bellator, but they used to always come up with 8 pretty decent guys for their tournaments.

Brandon Hasley is a bad man, Carmont is not going to beat him. Hasley may be a top 5 MW at this point

I'd honestly be fairly surprised if Halsey didn't wrestlefuck Carmont. People forget the guy started off as a striker.. I actually picked him to beat Jacare by using reverse wrestling to keep it standing, then he just gets dominated on the ground in between failing to capitalize on Jacare's woeful lack of standing weapons besides an overhand right.

    Bah.

    Carmont just isn't very good.
beast? The only somewhat noteworthy opponent he looked "impressive" (i.e. repeated laying and praying in the guard with zero pass attempts... zzzzzz) against was Costa Philippou, who is probably one of the most one-dimensional top 15 fighters in any weight division.

Also clearly lost to Lorenz Larkin in a very head-scratching decision.

It'll be interesting to see if Bellator wants to build him up for Halsey or have somebody else beat him to build them up for Halsey.

    What?

Definitely a good possibility, the division is pretty weak outside of Halsey.

Hard to say who would win between Carmon/Halsey, could be a good fight.

Considering Halseys best win is over a blown up overrated WW it's kinda hard to say.

With that said Halsey seems very promising so hopefully he takes it.

No, it wouldn't totally surprise me.
He's the best guy Halsey's fought, for sure. Carmont would take down and submit Shlemenko.

Barn cat and Halsey are the only two I see him not LnPing. MW in Bellator is weak.

could be right but theres always a chance of him getting caught. They just signed Luc Bondole but I hear he's going back to LHW which is a terrible move for him IMO 4-0-1 the draw was cause a bs point was taken the last 10 seconds against Jimmy quinlan and he stuffed the majority of his takedowns. Ben Reiter maybe. Dan Cramer has good wrestling. Theres a few guys.
