He's good but I'm kind of tired of the wheel house of tropes he represents for the most part.
Really good in my opinion.
American Sniper, Silver Linings Playbook, A Star is Born, American Hustle- all varying levels of high quality performance. He can also do comedy well (as seen in the Hangover films)
he’s one of those guys who was recognizable for years but more of a supporting player but I feel that the moment he got his shot as a lead- Limitless was that breakthrough in my view- he showed himself quite charismatic and capable. He’s only gotten better since.
Also, voice acting is an art form and I think Cooper does terrific work as Rocket in the MCU. Usually when you have a big celebrity voicing an animated character, the character sounds like said celebrity. The fact that Cooper went with that distinctive voice that I certainly wouldn’t have been able to place had I not known it was him and really sort of disappeared into that characterization deserves some props.
He's like a less talented Tom cruise
I liked him in Wedding Crashers.
Cant stand him.
I don't think it,
I haven’t seen the latter. But he was fantastic in Silver Linings.
Silver Linings Playbook was awesome. Not sure how he was playing himself there unless he's an endearing lunatic irl
Lol'd hard at this scene
he does pretty good for a guy who looks like he does and is named Bradley
I think he’s a romo
What do you mean when you say "good"
good as in, just good? acceptable, not bad, of decent quality? Yes he is absolutely good.
or do you say good when you actually mean "one of the best/top tier/GOAT" then no
it's the new code for 'would' or 'wood' for guys.
Hes good but doesnt have a lot of range.
Solid flick & American Sniper too.
Watched both many a times to pass out too while boozin & before I knock out.
Whenever I see him in a movie he plays the same character, imo.
Different attire, wig, hairstyle but same character. He may have scenes where he cries, yells, is serious, etc but it's still from the same guy.
I wouldn't say that makes him a bad actor just can't see him as anything else than that character he always plays. A lot of actors are like that though.
I'd say he is a just a notch below Mark Wahlberg territory.
You know James Marsden at least had the decency to stay in his lane, not like the Bradley Coopers and Chrises Pines and Pratts of the world. Why's it so difficult? You're the douches who somehow possess the girlfriend that will rightfully be stolen from you in ninety minutes or less.
He has range
Go watch a place beyond the pines and then the hangover.
He's solid. Nothing more, nothing less.
Won't blow your mind, but won't make you cringe.
Sometimes, you just become bigger than acting, and get to just be yourself until the end of time. He'll never give you some crazy Gary Oldman performance, but he'll always be steady and dependable.
