Do you think Biden is a better candidate than Hillary was?

No. He’s old and he is slurring his words and sounds like a different person. He’s worse than Dukakis. The media and high level “influencers” are just trying that hard to prop him in. Trump and his movement scare people that have more influence than they deserve.

Hillary is a b level politician lacking only in likability.

Biden was a c- level politician on his best day.

They all suck and venal AF. Best thing to do is not worried abt who's in charge or not and get up in the only "people" the Politians care about - the fortune 500s. Biden objectify passes more legislation because he was in power longer. From the bankruptcy bill that chains kids to life for student debt to increasing prison population 300% with his crime bill. Hillary is just a nat by comparison only serving limited time.

Biden is a straight hustler.

As gross as Hillary's resume is, she was an accomplished lawyer.

Biden's more likable and electable because he represents a time when a more diplomatic and Presidential communicator in Obama was in office. Whether you liked Obama or not, you can't deny his charm and grace.

Even though Biden's a joke, and always has been, he does represent those nostalgia goggles/early days of Obama.

Clinton's an entitled and unlikable cunt, but she is fierce and far more competent than Biden. Joe won't be leading anything, doesn't help he's clearly in the early phases of dementia.

Hilary was hated on a level that Biden could never approach. Hilary was hated on a level even Trump couldn't approach. Trumps supporters are far more rabid than anyone supporting Hilary.

I agree with this and I dislike trump lol.

This is true but confusing.

Biden wrote the crime bill and tried to cut social programs at least 5 times. He even tried as vp until Bernie Sanders threatened to primary Obama.

Anyone who receives SSI and anyone who is related to someone who receives SSI should be opposed to this clown.

dude is shot and barely alive
lol at being good at anything

Biden isn't as hated by the right as Hillary. Trump was also an unknown...some people that voted for Trump in 2016 hoped he would grow into the job and act more "presidential" once in office.

Unlike the Clintons, Biden didn't have the right-wing media attacking him since the 90s.

Clinton had very high negatives. Even within the party, there was an “anybody but Hillary” contingent. That made her a worse candidate than Biden. She was and will
always will be a very competent person, but she’s always been too much of a striver.

Biden’s well known and well liked. It’s why efforts to paint him negatively have failed. People aren’t going to vote against Biden. Should be good for 3-4% swing in the vote in Biden’s favor over Clinton.

Better is kind of an open ended thing.

Hillary is a ruthless experienced politician. Which makes her easy to hate especially if you disagree with most of what her and the democrats want.

Creepy Joe is easer to sell as far as personality but is clueless. He is just a place holder if elected to get the Ho in.

Pretty bad a half dead dude will beat Trump. Says something about who we are I'm sure.

Check out movie "idiocracy" for a primer

Hillary was a much better candidate.

Senate = Senate
SecState > VPOTUS

Hillary was famous for spending more time on the road compared to any SecState, she had the energy. She had the name recognition, her policy staff were competent. And yes, there was a lot of excitement about having such a strong female candidate many assumed was going to be POTUS.

Joe...well...he has lots of experience within the beltway. People will feel a sense of "normalcy" if he wins. But, as someone earlier in this thread mentioned, is that I'm not convinced Joe wants the job. He seems to be propped up by: Obama (to put him at ease that people still like him/his policy), the Democratic Party Establishment (corporatism), and his wife (she seems to want to be First Lady more than he wants to be POTUS).

Hillary's fault as a candidate was letting Robby Mook run the show. This guy pushed aside one of the greatest campaigners ever (Bill Clinton) and had Hillary campaign in areas that were already deeply blue. It seems that their entire campaign strategy was to rally the base, rather than reach out to independents or people in purple states.

Charm and grace are not qualities if used for Obama's purposes.

Cult leaders have charm and grace too.

lol, doesn't remove the fact that he can be smooth as butter

Just don't ask him to give a speech without a teleprompter

This election is solely about how people feel about trump. Voting is only 2 options; 1 - for trump and 2 - against trump. I don't think attacking Joe Biden is going to make a lick of difference. It could be a nutless monkey running for the dems and they'd still get the same amount of votes.

Better in terms of electability? Yes, Biden is better.

Better in terms of competence? No, Hillary was smarter
I generally believe this but I also think Hillary's competence is overrated. Biden seems like a better person though admittedly its really hard for us to know given how alienated we are form officials at that level.

Hillary had more enthusiasm its not a surprise why she won the popular vote.
She lost because some of the things she said about workers in Midwest which really didnt help with that. Among some other issues.
