Do you think Bethe is the first female fighter to not fear Ronda ?

It's hard to understand why anyone would fear a glorified grappling match, one which the fighter on the working end of the submission clinic (i.e., Bethe) can opt-out of at any time.

Ronda is good at WMMA and Bethe is another female who fights like a...female.

zzzzzzzzzz....

None of girls Ronda fought feared her. They just had shitty fight strategies.

I go with this. Getting armbared shouldn't be anything to fear as long as Ronda lets go after the tap. What Cain did to jds the third time could cause fear to future fighters.

I find it hard to believe any of them are afraid of Ronda the worst she can do is armbar you. Meisha Tate definitely wasn't afraid of her.

fear and belief are overrated. bethe getting rekt.

An armbar isn't exactly cozy. Meisha wasn't afraid and she still got her arm jacked up.

"I basically tore everything. I tore the inner and outer sides of my ligaments attached to the muscles and bone. They actually pulled the bone off with the ligament and then I tore all the muscles around that. So it was pretty bad, but you know to me it wasn't really that bad."

Yeah I think you said it best. Sure Ronda can land some punches but this isn't going to be a 25 minute beat down. Did Cat even get any injuries in her fight with Ronda? Speaking of cat where the hell is she?

Cat was very confident, that's why she used that dumb strategy and seemed off after the fight.

I don't think Bethe's behavior is just an act. She is delusional like that.

She shouldn't fear Ronda. She should fear the consequences.

The only grappler to fear would be rousimar palhares as you know he won't let go

I think the fear of failure in the most important moment of your career is reasonable.

Bethe is crazy. She reminds me of a female Conor Mcgregor in terms of "confidence" except for one thing..

She is not focused, and her anger gets the best of her. I've seen it in countless replays where she just swings for the fences. That shit is going to get her destroyed against a much more focused and composed RRR.

Conor is crazy and confident, but he keeps his cool. Bethe lets loose and is driven by rage. As long as Ronda keeps her cool in this fight, it's going to be a beatdown.

I think she's the most terrified, actually.
The crazy eyes and the screaming are just coping mechanisms.

I wouldn't go as far as the MOST terrified, but I do agree that she is a bit scared, probably no different than most other Rousey opponents. It generally stupid to guess the internal feelings of someone I don't know well, but I'm going to do it anyhow. I think Bethe is afraid of getting her ass kicked but do believe in a remote chance of maybe I can get lucky and win. She knows that Rousey's other opponents tend to have "lost" before they even step into the cage much like many of Tyson's opponents in his prime, so Bethe decides the best way for her to handle this fear is to just act out as loud as she can in an effort to pump herself up.

I think the least afraid of Rousey's opponents would be Liz Carmouche and maybe Tate I because Tate hated Rousey and Rousey wasn't proven yet.

Fearless vs a sub specialist is'nt necessary the best mindset

If she is afraid it's probably getting embarrassed in Brazil and so many people watching. Not scarred of taking an ass whooping .

I don't think McMann had any fear whatsoever. Would have been a good fight too if the knee didn't catch her.

And Herb not stepping in to do another early stoppage.

People get hurt in fights and still fight on cuz, well, theyre fighters.

Yeah, I've practiced BJJ since 2002, so I do appreciate that having your arm ripped off isn't pleasant. Didn't Tate let Rousey crank her arm for, like, some unimaginably long stretch of time? She could have saved herself all of that trouble with a bit more fight IQ and a bit less errant pride. If Tate had anyone to fear, it was her own bloated ego.

EDIT: Can't remember if that was their first fight...?

I think McMann doesn't have will enough. She have the tools to be a champion but isn't hungry.
