After his loss tonight do you think he's still one of the best? I honestly did not expect Brooks to have a chance at all, but he looked the best he's ever looked. In Chandlers last 2 losses, he's looked very bad compared to before. I think he's way too cocky as of late and this might wake him up a bit. I thought he was top 5 but idk anymore

Yes but his stock dropped, still think he is around the top 10. He didnt look good tonight but Brooks stepped up.

Still certainly top 10. He had a bad night. It happens. He's definitely capable of better performances.

He is arguably undefeated right now, but still has those L's unfortunately. He'll come back stronger. Will brooks just jumped to top 15 LW in the world though

He looked pretty bad tonight, but yes he is still one of the best.

Definitely one of the best LW in the world. And his last 2 loses, IMO, were both controversial. I thought he won tonight and I thought he beat Alvarez twice.

he came in with a stupid game plan. he tried to lay on brooks for 5 rds. it worked for 2 but brooks adjusted. chandler never made an adjustment himself.

I thought he won both too, but the way he's been fighting lately is very reckless and careless. Maybe being champ got to his head. Hopefully this set back will wake him up

Honestly I think he just had an off night . Gassed very fast and fought nothing like his normal self.

No, his fighting IQ is very low.

Continuously giving up your back is something a white belt would do, not a world class fighter.

Also his style that he adopted of keeping his hands at his waist and winging punches really cost him his last two fights. It's one thing to do this against David Rickels and Gono, but once he faced guys who are elite this stuff doesn't fly. He is very fortune Eddie just abandoned his technique and decided to brawl with him in their first fight.

His needs to go back to the drawing board and actually learn to keep his hands up, set up his striking instead of winging his punches, and setup his takedowns instead of spamming them and in the process wearing himself out.

He prepared for Alvarez and maybe didn't focus much on Brooks. He is still a top LW no doubt. Very young can still get better.

Yes...pretty much, he has not lost a fight he couldn't have arguably won. Can't throw a guy in the trash for that.

Of course his stock dropped, but of course, L's always drop stock no matter the circumstances..be it judges, maybe a flukey punch against a guy you would typically beat, or outside factors...but the dude could easily be undefeated still after the same exact two fights.

My opinion of Brooks was elevated more than my opinion of Chandler was dropped.

Brooks opened my eyes, I underrated him. I was also turning a blind eye to how much Chandler relies on hi athleticism.

I still think Chandler is a top LW. I now rate Brooks higher but outside the top 10 still which would change if he could beat Alvarez.

As an aside, I consider his last 2 fights to be very close and I didn't have him losing to Brooks but I did to Alvarez marginally.

Clearly still one of the best in the world. So is Alvarez and Brooks. These LWs would all do well in the UFC.

He is definitely top 10 in the world but his gas tank is very poor for LW division. I think he also gassed in last two rounds against Eddie and tonight too. The rest of his fights ended fast so we don't know but I think he has bad gas tank and against guys like Pettis, Gil, Bendo, Khabib, Thomson and others that will not fly.

Chandler is still great but he needs to work a lot on his striking and ground game. Still has a lot of space for improvement

Agreed. I think he's a bit small for the division as well and that looked like it might have been a factor tonight.

Definitely. Chandler is extremely legit. He had a bad night, plus Brooks has proven to be legit himself.

People are just fickle. Remember how written off Pettis was after losing to Guida and the Stephens fight? Look where he is now.

He still top 10 but he had difficulty tonight stock dropped a little but not much.
