When Jones was first suspended and DC won the title vs. Rumble, most of you autists were calling DC a paper champ.
DC proven himself as a good champ, fought the toughest dudes in his division and his only losses are to roided jones.

DC is a great fighter, one of the very best of all time, but he doesn’t feel or draw money like he should because he unfortunately was around in the same era as the very best who handed him 2 decisive losses. Hell no, I never considered him a paper champ. I always imagined if the roles were reversed what would happen. Take Jones off steroids and put DC on steroids. I believe DC would win given those variables. Those two fights were never fair because of Jones the lying cheat.

Cmon man, the juice doesn’t give you the technique or fight IQ that Jon has.

DC is amazing, I’m not trying to shit on him or say he sucks, because he does not. He’s an amazing amazing fighter. But in this era of LHWs, he will always be second best. Unless he gets to fight Jon and finishes him, he shouldn’t be considered the best.

Is he a paper champ? No, he’s the actual defending LHW champ. Regardless of how he got the belt back, he came out and finished Volkan and made it look pretty easy tbh. He is a true champion. But if Jon gets out of this situation relatively unscathed, DC must fight him. Win or lose, his last fight should be vs his greatest rival (maybe his only one)

I have a hard time to accept DC as the real champ as long as Jones just beat him less than a year ago. I felt the same with Robbie for a couple of years, after GSP retired. Everyone was/is sure that if GSP/Jones came back they would reclaim the belt. I even found Jones/Dcs second fight relavtiveley uninteresting, as we pretty much knew who would win.
