Do you guys pick up on the fact Joe Rogan has little to no respect for CM punk?

I think Joe fakes it a bit when he actually has to talk to the guy but his real feelings towards cm punk is he thinks hes a delusional joke. Like how dare he come into the ufc with zero experience get paid a bunch of money etc. I think he looks at it as almost an insult to all martial arts and mma worldwide. I've seen Joe talk about the guy on his podcast, the way he pushed cm punk out of the way post Jackson fight. Joe just can't fucking stand this guy. He can't even fake it properly. He tries. I see right through it. He has a lot of contempt and just zero respect for the guy.

The more fuck you money Joe makes on his own, the less he is worried about losing his UFC gig would be my guess. He has done a lot less UFC cog for the hype machine commentary as time has gone on.

It isn't Joe's 'opinion' that CM Punk was delusional.

Everyone with eyeballs knows the guy was delusional. He didn't have the most basic mechanics of fighting MMA down and had no hope of beating a journalist with an 0-1 record.

It looked like a guy with one hour of instruction. If I attempt to fly a plane later today and crash it before leaving the runway, we don't need to discuss if I was delusional thinking I could show up at the airport, tip my hat, wave to the tower and fly off.

I wouldn't say that, even many years ago when pride was still around he would mention Fedor and stuff like that which you would think would piss off the UFC brass even acknowledging his existence. He mentioned Aoki and others not under the UFC brand many years ago. But maybe he had enough fuck you money back then with his fear factor gig.

It’s okay though, nobody else had any respect for Punk either.

Lol I'd have more faith in you flying a plane with 1 hour of instructions than CM Punk in an MMA fight.

Well it's pretty damn obvious lol. I think almost everyone has picked up on it.

Why do so many people think Joe pushed Punk out of the way? He touched him on the shoulder asking him to stay in the octagon so he could interview him right after Jackson, but Punk ignored him in embarasment or exhaustion, left the cage and then got transported to the hospital.

You can tell he hates it

He had to reel himself back a few times and say things like..."But hey he's tough and he's trying"

Joe is Jealous CM Punk did what he didnt have the balls to do.

Joe is jelly of punk going in there before him

Joe secretly wished he had the courage to do it at least once but never did

So in his mind its like "look at this idiot, completely delusional. Im much better than him and I wouldnt try it"

Trust me, im sherdog #1 p4p psychologist

I think, deep down, Joe is resentful that he never took even an amateur MMA fight. When he talks to his non-mma guests on JRE, he has no problem talking about "When I used to fight..." (referring to his Tae Kwon Do days at the YMCA), but when talking to MMA fighters, he refrains from "speaking from experience". It probably eats at his ego and now he's projecting onto CM Punk for his failings. Even though CM Punk got humiliated and will probably never live it down, he at least had the balls to try it and can legitimately say that he at least has "fighting experience".

This, of course, is just my Sherdog Psyche evaluation (I hold like 7 degrees on it and stuff..nbd)

What has Phill done to gain Joe's or anyones respect?

Any ole Sherbro could climb into that cage tomorrow and murder Stipe within 20 seconds.

That's why it's hard to think the shit he pulls on commentary is completely deliberate. During the card where he sandbagged Punk the whole fight.. a huge no-no, but a thought that was in the minds of most fans. Probably still an upopular spin to take to UFC suits.

Same card he pulled his patented "I'm only calling out the positives for one fighter during this scrap" in RDA vs Colby. I don't necessarily think the UFC are going to formulate a "push" for Colby.. nor would Joe participate.. I also don't think Joe has any bias in the fight.. he's just a stoner that is calling out shit that he took greatest notice of..

I hespect that the guy has heart to give the UFC a try... but that was a piss poor performance. Joe and Sherdog know that he doesn't belong...

Punk ran away because he was going to get a Joe Rogan tongue thrashing live inside the cage! He was going to get the "talk" right then and there. He wanted no part of it. It may have served Punk right to walk away knowing how awkward his last post fight interview against Gall was.

Punk has some die hard fans that went to that event just to see HIM. I saw it from this chick on Twitter who responded to his last tweet. The stupid bitch had like ring side seats!!! She showed video of his fight and how close she was. Lol.

Joe thinks there's a place for him in the ufc but not anywhere near the main card.

He' jealous a generic taller guy is better than him.

Joe(Cena) Id much rather be a one hit wonder than a phony.

Joe said on his podcast you do it the right way. Go to the regional circuit. Get some experience. Then and only then if he's even a fraction competent you could sign him and put him on an undercard or prelim.

The thing is, CM Punk would get murdered on the regional circuit and never make it based on fighting skill and merit in the UFC.
