i do because im trustworthy but i've learned throughout my adulthood that it can backfire on you so nowadays, i don't really trust anybody. i always tend to think ahead and prejudge people for the better, thinking hey this dude seems cool or this girl seems worthy to date but in the end it's never what i expect. been fucked over too many times in my life and i've had it. i don't talk or befriend too many people nowadays and for good reason.

I created youth bank accounts for two of my little cousins because their dad wasn’t around. They had got their first part time jobs and I am the signing authority.

They are 17 years old.

They deposited a fake cheque and empty envelopes and withdrew 3000 dollars.

The bank froze the accounts but the money is gone. I confronted them over it and threatened to call the cops.

They swore they would return the money and so far have returned 1000 bucks. Still waiting for them to find the 2000 bucks. I have all the proof of what happened but am worried I can’t sue them in civil court because they aren’t 18 yet.

I can possibly have them charged criminally but it won’t get me the 2000 bucks back. Its Tuesday now and they said they can deposit another 1000 bucks today but I’m waiting.

Long story short I will never trust anyone again.
