I enjoy foreign movies with subtitles.
Subtitled comedy shows would likely not have the same impact unless you are very familiar with the cultural and political scene from that country.

Depends on the type of comedy, some stuff is funny universally.
Reference based or cultural stuff kinda loses me, even if it isnt foreign.

I once went on watching "2.5 men" in Spanish for several episodes, just for the fun of it. No subtitles and shit.
It was ok, still funny, but not as funny as in English. And some of the voices were off, way off, for the characters.
