Do you eat the skin when eating a mango?

I always have but apparently that is not normal according to a few people I've asked irl. I thought everyone did. I love mango and the skin adds a nice contrast to the soft texture of the fruit. Gotta be perfectly ripe though otherwise it's tough and bitter.

with a mango the favorite way i love to eat it is cut it into two halves around the seed. and then cut a few lines running longways down the half and a few lines runnning cross it and then push them out and eat the dices that are made. ofcourse i leave the skin.

give it a go, just bite in and eat like an apple, and you can eat the whole thing or leave the tiny core inside. maybe leave the core for a few goes until you get the hang of it.

However, I can get behind this. As weird and hairy as kiwifruit are, the skin is edible and adds an interesting tang to the whole affair.

thanks to an old roommate, i can't eat mangoes without wanting to vomit. my old roommate used to eat mangoes whole, and the sound he made sounded like he was giving head. it was fucking disgusting. i used to have to go to my room to avoid the sound lol.
