He's been a part of the community longer than most sherdoggers knew what MMA was.

Uh the dude worked for the UFC as an analyst for a few years, trains multiple active and past MMA/UFC fighters in BJJ, and has and still corners people in fights like Ben Saunders.

If you don't think he's part of the MMA community you might actually be a retarded person.

Of course! Put some respeck on Edgy Brah's name.

yes..... of course
he specializes in jitz for mma

but if he thinks any woman fighter could beat Ray Lewis in a fight.....
I think he is hugely off base
to put it mildly....
Ray Lewis is an absolute beast
250 lbs
hall of fame
linebacker

Yeah. Bravo used to be a commentator for KOTC and then the round scorer and highlight presenter for the UFC. His "system" is based on BJJ for MMA. One of, if not the first to teach No-Gi BJJ, while taking GnP into account. Numerous fighters have used his teachings in the UFC. And he showed against Royler twice that his vision works. He's a pioneer, has been contributing on a lot of levels for close to 20 years now. Shinya Aoki became a rubber guard beast when under Bravo's tutelage.
more facts in this post than the rest of the whole thread....

It's possible, he explained how, by getting behind him and climbing his back for a choke. All that in reality could end up in some rough stuff tho...his perspective tends to be based on how well BJJ works. It's tough to argue that stuff with him (he used to post here) because he's so far ahead in technical thinking.

OFC he's Tony's BJJ coach and many others.

Absolutley. He used to score the fights live for the UFC,and they took him off that, when they realized he was more accurate than the actual judges scores. Just cos you dont like what the man says when he's high as fuck doesnt mean he isnt part of the mma community. Hell, didnt Korean Zombie use his twister to defeat Leonard Garcia. There are people IN the mma community that havent done any of that shit.

I'm a fan of bravo's and yes technical moves have merit but shear size and beastliness are hard to argue with

Yes. He is a big influence on one aspect of MMA.

Whoever this Eddie Bravo casual noob is, he doesn't even have a Sherdog account. Definitely not part of the MMA community.

How can you not think so? I mean you can think you thought but it's not like you thought it out. Yes.

Eddie bravo is such a colossal prick

He's like some cris Angel douche
