Do you collect anything?

Do you collect anything? Stamps? Movie posters? LPs?

I want to do something similar to this guy, but I won't limit myself to Nintendo. I'm not as much of a gamer as I used to, but I still think this is extremely cool. We have a spare room in the house that I'll convert to something like this. It isn't as big, but if I knock down some walls and extend the room, I can definitely pull off something similar... or maybe even better.

My dad passed on his stamp collection to me and I added to it all my childhood. I had a freakin' awesome stamp collection with thousands of stamps but I have no idea where it is now. It is probably stolen or lost when we moved a couple of times. I wish I could find it.

 

i don't really hardcore collect anything, but i do have quite a big fantasy book collection.

 

nah, i've never been. i guess the only thing i somewhat collect, are postcards of the places i've been to. i have them on my walls, as a matter of fact. but i'm not completely obsessed where i travel just to acquire postcards.

 

I seem to be collecting band t.shirts, I have 18.

I had a stamp collection when I was a kid that was handed down to me by my dad. I have no idea where it went.... I cannot remember at what point in time I lost them.

 

Complaints

 

I sort of collect video games. And by that I mean that I buy them, often forget to ever play them, but then refuse to get rid of them.

 

I guess pron. I gotta have that shit downloaded and properly categorized and sorted. It's a huge collection of smut that I'll pass on to my children someday once their lawyers lighten up a bit

 

I've been collecting Comic Books since I was in 8th grade and I still have them. I also collect action-figures, statues, and video games. I got a lot of my stuff when I was stationed in Japan. All of my action figures are NRFB. Never Removed From Box.

Just counted them up and I have 96 Forgotten Realms novels. I don't really have them for the purpose of collecting them, though. Just for the purpose of reading them, which I have already save for maybe 3 or 4 that I haven't read as of yet.

I also have a good number of boxing books as well, along with other various sports books. So maybe my collection is just books in general.

I like to collect vinyl and I thought it was pretty cool, until one day when I was at a record store and I noticed that I was surrounded by hipsters. Then it occurred to me that buying vinyl must be a pretty hipster thing to do and that I must be hipster too, and all the sudden I didn't think it was cool anymore. Still doesn't stop me from buying records from time to time though.

 

I better start buying stuff now. Word on the street is that demand for Nintendo memorabilia is on the rise
