Would be enough time? Jet lag?
They need to move that to another country.
As long as the fight isn't at altitude or something, a week should be fine.
She’s in Dubai right?
Abu Dhabi, and she just get her US visa.
She'll be fine. She is used to training in that horrendous Asian toxic smog
For a strawweight Zhang is built like a tank. She doesn't strike me as the type of fighter to let jet lag greatly effect her performance in the cage.
How long was Rocky in Russia before his fight ?
I don't know but she probably has a pretty good idea
1 week should be good enough but it depends on the person.
Where is she? Someone tell me where is zhang weili now? What she doing?
rule of thumb is 1 day per hour of time difference. I think there's 12 hours timezone difference, she should get 12 days in, jet lag alone will mean that her training will be off. These fighters should arrive a month in advance to prep in my opinion.
Only fair since many think they sent Andrade to China to give Zhang the best possible chance against a jet lagged champion
few push-ups, and she will be fine.
To act like this isn’t something coaches and fighters plan for is mind boggling. I’m sure they are training at different times of day than they would be if the fight were in their backyard
usually, a week is not enough. to just to get over the jetlag? maybe yes. however, for athletes, it'd make more sense to travel at least 2-3 weeks in advance.
