Basically being at different points at your life's where you admit your in love with each other but that it just won't work out now but it could somewhere down the line ?

Yes. My ex was crazy AF when we dated, but she's gone through a lot of therapy and I wish I could date her now.

When it comes to love there is no wrong time

“For the first time in my life I saw the truth as it is set into song by so many poets, proclaimed as the final wisdom by so many thinkers. The truth – that Love is the ultimate and highest goal to which man can aspire. Then I grasped the meaning of the greatest secret that human poetry and human thought and belief have to impart: The salvation of man is through love and in love.”

- Dr. Viktor Frankl

Sometimes it's also about needs in a relationship. You can love an alcoholic but that person clearly is not competent for a relationship.

Yes, which is worst than loving the wrong person at the right time.

Do you believe that true love is conditional?

nah, thats just an excuse to be flakey.
Of course that could be in play. But when you love someone you have to be able to let them go. They found you before, they'll usually find you again.

Yes. Me and my ex found each other at real low points in our lives. We obviously love each other very much but we've been on the rocks for some months now. Yesterday was the first time we've seen each other in about 2 months. It was very pleasant. I think we both want to try to work it out. Time will tell.

Glad to hear. I actually left the state to try to better myself. Just kind of got to grow apart. We still chat from time to time but I'm thinking of cutting it off for a bit. I know in time things will work out how it's supposed to

We have definitely grown apart but when we are together it's like we never left. We've both made a lot of progress since we split up. I'm willing to make the effort if she is. I've been being a straight ho lately. Smashing everything I can. It's fun but it's definitely not the same.
