    With Khabib gone,
Who do you think is most likely to reign as champ at 155 for a while, if anybody?

Does the title bounce around for the next few years?

I could see Chandler or Olivera losing in their first defense to a Gaethje or Dustin and then the title switching hands again after that ..
These guys all seem pretty evenly matched

    What do you guys think?

Conor sweeps the division, moves up to WW and destroys Usman. Becomes the GOAT

    Then I woke up

That's fair but given the guys he's beaten, the way he's beaten them and him being our most recent champ, that's our gauge

Chandler, if he beats Oliveira, will beat Gaethje, or Poirer pretty easily. He would have the most trouble with Conor stylistically, but I think he beats him as well.

Chandler in all likelihood gets at least 2 title defenses.

Lol at Chandler beating Gaethje or Poirier easily. Two super durable guys with good tdd and way higher volume than Chandler

No. The division is truly a shark tank as cliche as it sounds.

At the airport BJ would clear out the division.

Gaethje with good TDD? Come on. He has even said he doesn't practice BJJ of his back at all. If Chandler got him down once with more then a minute on the clock, that's the fight right there.

And Poirer's BJJ isn't great either, If Hooker can take him down multiple times Chandler sure can. But I doubt he would need to, I think he just KO's him with a right.

Dustin could get a couple of defenses in. I think Chandler is his toughest matchup right now. Maybe Islam could potentially get a few he just needs to get active. LW is wide open now that Khabib is gone.

I've watched every single one of his fights from Alvarez 1. I hyped him up on Sherdog for ages before he joined the UFC. I was one of the ONLY people saying that he would beat Hooker. Don't give me that patronizing BS about how many fights I've watched.

Sounds like you don't realise how good he is, and how both Poirer and Gaethje have aspects of their game that Chandler can exploit.

He needs to prove it against some top 10 competition first.... ragdolling Dober for 3 rounds doesn’t lead me to believe he’s the next Khabib. I get that he is highly touted and his teammates have high hopes for him but we’ve seen that story play out to be less than awe inspiring many times in the past. Not to mention he’s been KO’d in relative recent memory (given that he fights so infrequently) speaking of his rate of making it to the cage I can’t imagine him winning 3 more fights within the next decade.

If Oliveira beats Chandler, I really like his chances against either Poirier or Conor in his first defense. I'm not sure who would be in line for the title shot after that.

Lol, he will win against Oliveira, they are both overrated, and he will lose the first time he tries to defend.
