Truckers are critical components in todays society and sure they could fuck things up for a bit if they all took collective action. But collective action is a bitch. Good luck getting every single trucker to agree to something.
And even if you did there are other methods of transportation.
And it does not take that long to train someone to drive a truck.
And as far as I am aware truck drivers also require food and medicine to live.

Are they important? sure.
Could they fuck shit up collectively? Sure.

but that applies to like every profession. Doctors could stop healing people or start killing people.
the army could revolt and take over the planet.
fire fighters could collectively start setting fires instead of putting them out.
fast food workers could all park their cars in the middle of the street.

lots of people working together can fuck things up. i don't see how this is a revelation nor why it specifically applies to truckers.

Not sure about that but they sure as fuck drive like it in the winter. Weaving in and out of traffic, speed limits? Who needs that if you're a semi truck drive. Nevermind when they do this in winter driving conditions.

the business of trucking to move commerce around has been pretty instrumental but thats not to say that a different system couldnt be used in its place

as for truckers themselves.....they fucking drive for a living, its not rocket science....there is a long list of people capable of performing this vocation
