Admittedly, I haven't followed all of this very closely. I keep reading where new subscribers to ESPN+ will get a free PPV. Does this apply to people who have been with ESPN+ prior to the PPV deal?

You get UFC 236 specifically, for free. Not a PPV of your choosing.

I believe it's only new subscribers but I'm talking out of my ass

I have heard, though, that Disney and hulu and ESPN+ will soon be available as a POWERFUL bundle

No, you would have to cancel your subscription then sign up for the deal.

The whole ESPN deal smells of shit.

PPV providers typically get half of the revenue, while the content provider (UFC) gets the other half.

So the UFC is cutting the provider out, but not giving a real discount. This is not a win for the fans. I was expecting them to cut PPV prices down by maybe 20%, but nope. It's like they don't grasp that PPV sales are not great and streaming is easy.

Just go watch the PPV at a “restaurant” like the majority of us do. This ESPN+ bs with PPVs won’t stop anything
