Do smaller weight divisions duck more often?

Obviously no division is perfect and people like Bisping exist, but it seems like as you go down in weight classes, the ducking becomes more common and more blatant, doesn't it?

GDR, Conor, Mighty Mouse ducking TJ, Nicco, Ronda ducking Cyborg, Cyborg ducking the Nunes fight. While at the heavyweight level, guys want nothing more than to break each other's faces regardless of the size difference.

Not unlike woodland creatures, tiny people naturally frighten more easily. Which might be why we should close some of those divisions.

Conor fought Aldo in his prime, wanted to fight RDA and is now fighting Khabib who on paper is the worst possible match up. What crack are you smoking? Cyborg also signed to fight Nunes multiple times and Nunes delayed the fight.

You can argue about that, but none of those were actual booked fights that those guys pulled out of in the way Mighty Mouse, GDR, Montano etc did. I don't think Ronda vs. Cyborg was ever officially booked, I'll grant you that, but that was about as blatant as you can otherwise get.
