I like the 125lb division about as much as I do the WNBA. Sure, MM is a good fighter...for a 125lb guy, just like some of those female basketball players are good at basketball...for a woman. No one gives a shit about the WNBA because any NBA team could smoke them easily. Same thing when it comes to MM. No matter how much technique he learns, he would get his clock cleaned by a sub par HW.
Except MM has an elite skillset that is comparable to (or above) any other elite fighter. WNBA isn't as fast or as athletic (not a slam at the WNBA). The only thing he doesn't have is the same power as a HW - he can lift guys his size and slam them though. By your logic, you would rather see two big unskilled fighters go at it.

so by that logic you don't enjoy BW, FW, LW, WW, and most of MW?
I don't like MM or FLW but that is just straight up retarded logic
So where's your cutoff? I'm assuming you only watch HW and LHW. Maybe MW. But using your logic, anything below MW shouldn't interest you. Is this an accurate assessment? No. I want to see the best fighters fight. Not necessarily the most skilled. Size and strength go a long way towards determining who the best fighter is. Otherwise, there would be no weight divisions. When you keep having smaller and smaller combatants, eventually it just doesn't matter to me anymore.
In a sport that got going because people wanted to see who the best fighters are, MM is great....for a tiny person. He's not even close to being the best fighter. Or even a pretty good fighter for a pro. That's why so many people don't care.
