Do people still believe Holly was going "easy" on her first two ufc fights?

Nah, even if you're going easy you don't win by split decision.
 
I never believed it. If you're in a cage with a pro fighter who intends to do you bodily harm, "going easy" would be a pretty dumbass thing to do.
 
Never did - tho I gave the benefit of doubt based on camp talk - basically said ok but if she fights like that post Ronda then its pretty much a wrap.

Still a fan and styles blah blah blah.

would have been a great conspiracy. ground game needs work. her and conor should pool their money and bring in the best.

It was either Jackson or Winklejon.

I said after the Ronda fight I wasn't buying it other than maybe they said don't throw so many leg kicks so you don't get taken down.

Holly hasn't really faced scrubs in the UFC. She may not have faced the level of competition that Ronda Rousey has faced, but Marion and Pennington have good stand up.

for sure, and her style is similar to andersons in the sense that if the other fighter doesnt push the pace, it can be a boring fight and runs counter to her counterstyle (see what i did there??).

what i meant was, holly had one easy fight in the ufc, and it was rhonda rousey.
 
Yeah, she sucks and just got lucky 38 times or 71% of her strikes in 9 minutes or almost 2 rounds of fighting the WMMA 6X defending Bantamweight champ.
 
So what does that say about the fact she beat the piss out of Ronda?
 
I new she would lose her fist title defense. Going easy...LOL.

i am of the view that if you get the professional fighter tag, and the fame, chicks, and parking spots that go with it, you have to tell the internet who you are.

Obviously sandbagging. She sandbagged her way to getting bloodied up and booed out of the joint vs Pennington.
 
She comes in striking and backs of with a push and back to circling around. Very funny.
 
I don't know if anyone really believed that. To me it was pretty obvious that while she's technically very solid...she still had a lot of questions in her game. She really had the right tools and executed the perfect game plan against Rousey.

Her coaches shouldn't have said that, it just makes her look bad because she didn't look like a world beater and she got choked unconscious.
