Do people on here like Nunes? Or do they just want Ronda to lose?

I'm 80% indifferent, 20% negative with respect to WMMA in general.
 
no one gives a sht about nunes - if she lost, no one would ever talk about her again, except for ronda fans trying to bolster her record - ronda could do anything and people would never shut up about her
 
Was absolutely stoked after she destroyed Miesha, since her power in her hands is awesome.
Watching her take the opportunity to Bisping/Conor/Woodley/Alvarez her way into a money fight lost me as a fan.

She, in no uncertain terms, said she absolutely would love to fight the #2 ranked fighter.
A few hours later, she was trying to back out and trying to justify how a #2 ranked fighter needs to fight a #7 ranked fighter to prove their worth. Then, she went back on that, trying to setup and hype a match with the #7 directly, and ultimately culminating with her just admitting that she wants to fight Rousey as it would be the biggest "fight" (ahem, payday). Now, she is gay cancer.

There are alot worse people than Ronda in MMA. She's never cheated or committed a crime.

Yes, she's ferocious and technical, i like her a lot.
 
I usually root for the hotter fighter. In this situation I find neither attractive so I'm forced to go with personality. Which means Nunes > Honda by a landslide.
 
I like them both, but Ronda losing is for the best. I don't ever want to hear this once in a lifetime crap and how she's so inspirational to come back and win etc. I'd like to see more deserving fighters get the money/spotlight.

If she wins the title back, how is she undeserving and which fighters qualify as "deserving"?

WRONG

Ronda winning is the best thing to ever happen to wmma. She's only coming back for a few more fights any way. WMMA lost it's luster when she lost. People tuned in to watch Holly lose to Miesha and they haven't cared since. Ronda will bring attention to it one more time before bowing out. Nunes can't carry WMMA into the future.

except that you're all about the hype train. you don't like RR because others really like her, not because of her. you don't care about Nunes for the same reason (because she has no following) - if she did my guess is you'd have strong feelings for her.

two sides of the same coin, my friend. not unlike Cosell's famous quote i'm surely butchering "i don't care if they like me or hate me, as long as they're talking about me at the water cooler."

there's a lot of interesting aspects to this bout. Nunes has done great, but re-watching (or quite likely watching for the first time) her bout with Cat may bring her down to earth about how to beat her. whereas RR's skills and holes need no re-review; i'm sure you know all about them. can RR beat her on the ground? get an armbar from some random position? can she get a throw in the first place? has she learned patience or will she rush into jabs and crosses with her arms wide open ala her HH bout? similarly, does Nunes stick and move? or will she allow in-fighting which could lead to a judo throw? how will her well-discussed bjj do against an armbar specialist?

it could be an interesting bout, if you cared about any of it. but you're more concerned with hype trains. just one asshole's opinion. i could be wrong; OTOH this could be a good time for introspection instead of defensiveness on your side. no offense meant either way. cheers.
 
I'm indifferent towards Nunes, but I can't stand Ronda's attitude. I hope she doesn't cry after getting punched out.

Personally I'm not a big fan of wmma mainly due to the skill gap and the hype for ronda didn't help and I honestly dont care that much for Nunes I just dont like Ronda, so for the people rooting for Nunes, do you actually like her or do you just hate Ronda?

Also i think Ronda wins this and the laughable hype train will get back on track unfortunately
