I've often wondered if we look at our "favorites" in various categories of life (e.g., movies, books, foods, etc.) whether it says something about our overall personality or self.

Here are my favorites:

Book: 'The Blackwell Companion to Natural Theology' ed. William Lane Craig & J.P. Moreland

Author (non-fiction): Tie between Gary R. Habermas and C. Stephen Evans

Author (fiction): Charles Dickens

Sport: Basketball

Athlete: Rex Chapman (former NBA basketball player)

Clothing company: Tie between Polo and Puma

Movie: Clue: The Movie

Food: Pizza and buffalo wings (but only from Buffalo, NY)

This is just a sampling. Not sure what is says about me, but here's a guess: A generally Christian, conservative guy, who likes to think about his beliefs and who also enjoys the lighter side, such as unserious movies and junkfood.

How about you?

rex made some clutch 3's in that playoff series vs the sonics.

You got too much time on your hands, that's my sampling

I love looking through peoples music and book collections. I think you can learn a quite a bit about someone this way.

Yes, they do. This thread tells me that you have been reading Carl Jung books again.

If you are from a small town, either I have psychic powers or your favorite things say a lot about you.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

well you like basketball so does that mean you thoroughly enjoy large sweaty african american males in a non homosexual way of speaking??

Rex Chapman was awesome in his stint with the Heat.

I like rifles. Stereotype says I'm either a redneck or I have mental issues and I might walk into a public place and shoot people.

But in reality, I'm born and raised in California and I actually like people in general. I cried for days when I ran over a dog back in 2010. I just love bolt action rifles. I love customizing my rifle and spending sometime at shooting range on my days off.

Thanks for all your contributions.

I'll play. :)

Book: Jeff Long - The Descent

Album: At the moment; Andrew Bayer - It's Artificial

Movie: Trainspotting

Sport: Football(Soccer) / MMA

Athlete: Wayne Rooney / Ilya Kovalchuk / GSP

Food: Can't decide, probably some Thai dish

Drink: I drink water like 5 liters a day, so maybe that. Beer comes to play too ;)

Conclusion; I'm a major **** and an idiot.

When aol had profiles i would search for ppl based on the same hobbies/ interests. Sometimes cybersex
