Do graphic novels have enough content to be interesting to adults?

If you're hung up on being "adult" . . .

Not exactly my cup of tea but worth mentioning.

Mine either (nor is tights and capes, really) but another one in the vein of those above is Daytripper:

Probably one of those "You'll get it when you're older" reads which I'm not old enough to fully appreciate, heh.

I'm currently reading the Guardians of the Galaxy novels before the movie comes out.

It's interesting learning about them and their villains considering I didn't give them much thought before. So far so good.

Rocket Racc00n has become my favorite Guardian.

Already mentioned, but absolute must reads are:

Sandman
Watchmen
Preacher
Fables

One that hasnt been mentioned is Hellblazer. About John Constantine, a modern day mage that gets into all kinds of freaky occult shit. Very good, very dark and very disturbing at times. Like Sandman, it is technically set in the DC universe, but there is hardly any interaction with superheroes at all.

Here are some of my top reads:

Get back to me when you read From Hell.

Quite a bit of adult content in that.

anything by Ed Brubaker, Incognito and Criminal are good reads. He also wrote the Capt America Winter Soldier storyline that the new film is loosely based on.
