DJ was easily ahead in the standup, I still cant believe Henry won.

Looked like it wasn't clean, the body absorbed a lot of it.. If it was clean to the chin he would be on queer street.

I don't see how he won the fight, this is potentially the only actually significant strike he landed. After watching the fight and looking at the metric I do not understand how they score significant strikes at all. If you watched that fight and you really thought DJ wins you are delusional. He didn't do a single a thing but get off the ground for the entire fight. The most noteworthy thing was him doing his job and getting off his back, something you don't get points for. He made cejudo retreat on the feet ONCE in a five round fight. He lost, get over it.

Clearly to his body, not his chin. Nice attempt though.

I re-watched the fight this morning and no way DJ should've lost. Before anyone accuses me of bias please check my post history, I've never been a fan of DJ the fighter, only DJ the person.

    So many butthurt Mouse fans.

He lost a very close decision. This isn't the end of the world. This isn't a work. This decision does not call into question the integrity of the judges. It was a close fight that Henry won. Stop being sore losers. You fucks are taking the loss harder than DJ is.

Interesting. Can you link me to this "hard as fuck" metric? Can we actually talk about reality here. DJ had less then 10 meaningful strikes in the entire fight. Nearly all 10 came in the first three rounds. I don't think your eyes were open if you actually think DJ strikes were in anyway going to save him from a decision loss. The dude coasted for the last two rounds because he hurt his foot. DJ lost, get over it.

Beautiful combination with ducking the left hook and hitting him with the right after that knee

A lot of these guys are making us look bad. Bradley vs Pacquiao was a pretty blatant work. This was just a close fight that Mighty Mouse should have pushed harder in.

LOL He landed 39 leg kicks thrown so hard that his foot was broken by the end of the fight. So yeah you're clueless. Not sure how you can say he coasted the round when he landed more on the feet and was more active on the ground than Cejudo. All Henry did was get a bodylock and hug on to DJ terrified cause if he moved DJ would scramble up again.

So if I punch a guy in the face but it doesn't actually do anything as long as i break my hand that means I won? If you actually score the fight with a nuanced version of a sig strike DJ still loses. Sig strike in current ufc just means it wasn't blocked, that doesn't mean he wins. Also, every single one of those bodylocks and hugging moments are actual significant moments in the fight. Those are points in time where DJ is doing nothing to score points in anyway. When they throw hands they are both pushing forward, hitting some shots. When they are grappling, DJ is getting controlled for a bit and then he bursts away. You don't get points for defending yourself. I want you to go score that fight again and actually watch it.

You don't get points for laying on top of your opponent doing nothing is literally in the new unified rules. He wasn't passing guard, looking for subs or anything so literally the only thing Henry should of scored with is those 3 individual takedowns. No way in hell is that enough to outweight the higher volume and more powerful strikes DJ was throwing.
DJ won is pretty obvious if attempt to use the actual scoring criteria. http://www.fightmetric.com/fight-details/f2ca358ea9bec156

"He wasn't passing guard" Did you watch the fight, or listen to DJ's post fight interview where he even says "All he did was pass my guard and throw a few strikes.". So once again you are contradicting the person you are defending.. Why do you feel the need to come out and right the wrongs of the judges when your judgment is clearly altered by you being a fan of his. DJ is already being straight up and saying he lost, he wants the rematch and he wants to move forward but he has come to terms with reality, something his fans have not done yet. You are simply just being a fanboy at this point.
