Anyone buy this on steam or have you played any of the "Distant Worlds"?

Reviews of the game, good or bad? I'm debating on getting since its a game and 4 expansions for $50 on steam.

Yeah I'm interested in this as well. Has a warm reception on metacritic. Looks like the big hook for this is that you can play as pirates instead of a civ

Dunno if I should get this, or splash an extra $50 for Gal Civ 3 early access though

The alpha is on Steam right now but it comes with a $100 price tag (It's a founders edition where they name stars and shit after you if you pay)
