Log: Stardate Day1

Goal: meet or exceed target calorie budget of 4900cals (50c/30p/20f). Discover proper balance of mealtime and snacks. Right now eating 4 times daily with two snack/shakes also.

This was a TON in my gut. Still Short some 500 calories. Need to drink another shake or start chewing on beef sticks. Maybe adding in a greens salad will help with digestion. Get Beano at Walmart tomorrow.

Emotionally, I felt like a real piggie today. The food wasn't such a rock in my gut though. I had an amazing day at work. I made a PR for efficiency - 875 cases an hour! I wasn't even winded afterwards. Overall kickass Monday.

Metabolism was working the high end today. I may have had my first recognition of what exactly an insulin spike feels like. No wonder hypoglycemics are such a downer. Bought some new cheap sunglasses at Walmart. Beano too.
 
From the looks of things your consumption of green veggies is atrociously lacking for such a high-calorie regimen. Plus, you have too much in the ways of simple carbs and fats. Due to the simple carbs (or high GI foods) you'll be getting more of those insulin spikes, which can be good or bad depending on how prone you are to diabetes.

My suggestion:

If you're going to consume fat supplements (like flax oil and such) eliminate some of the other foods higher in saturated fats (like hamburger, and some of the dairy), and in-place of the sugary things (like more than a couple servings of fruit or your butterfinger there) get some more servings of greens

There's a good reason 265lb (of lean muscle) Pro BB'ers eat like 2 heads of lettuce a day.
